These are some of my favorite products that I have at home and use for my 10 week old, Luke.  If you are expecting, I hope this is helpful as you try to find the right products for your lifestyle.  It’s so hard to know what to get unless you have some recommendations first.  Please leave a comment if this is helpful and I’ll try to do another post on more product reviews!

.)  Jersey Crib Sheet – I purchased this turquoise crib sheet for the nursery and love it!  It’s really inexpensive and it’s soft.  Another reason I love this is the fun bright color.  I had a hard time finding a color I liked at the big baby stores and found that the 100% cotton sheets did not feel soft.

.) My Breast Friend Pillow – I waited way to long to purchase this pillow (4 weeks).  It was so helpful since breastfeeding was really difficult for me.  This pillow was great to help give me more support, which eased my back pain of being hunched over nursing all the time and better position the baby.  I no longer use it much now since Luke has gotten larger and breastfeeding is much easier.  I think this is a bit over priced for the quality, so I would recommend checking out a used baby store before spending the $40+.

.) Baby Einstein Neptune Ocean Adventure Mat – Just broke it out a week ago and love it!  Luke was 9 weeks old and I should have opened it up sooner.  He really likes laying under the toys and it keeps him occupied for awhile.  He really enjoys it and it allows me to get a few things done around the house.

.) Tommee Tippee 9oz bottles – I started off with the 4oz Avent Classic bottles.  I wasn’t in love and wanted to find a different bottle.  Several of my friends used Tommee Tippee and I read a lot of reviews of many different bottles.  After trying a few, I landed on these 9oz bottles.  First of all, I love the wide nipple, which makes it easy to go back and fourth between breastfeeding.  I also love that it’s a 9oz bottle, but still feels small.  I think it would be all you would need, instead of getting large and small bottles.  And my other favorite feature is their Formula Dispenser that fits inside the bottle.  This is great for on the go and to have ready for night feedings.  I love the convenience!

.) Rock n’ Play – This. Is. A. Must. People!  I know so many people who have this and decided to get this at the last minute.  So glad we did!  Luke slept in this instead of his bassinet and we moved it all over the house for naps.  It kept him a bit more upright, which eased my fears of him choking on his spit up.  And it’s super easy to throw in your call when you leave town.  It’s Awesome!

.) Natural Sponge – I received this from a friend and didn’t think much about it, but it’s amazing!  I started off using wash cloths and once I tried this sponge, it made bath time so much better.  It’s so SOFT and just easier to use to suds and scrub him down.  It eventually starts falling apart, so you have to replace after a few months.

.) Giraffe Blanket – I received a lot of Aden & Anais blankets (which I also like) and this giraffe blanket by Angel Dear, which is my fav.  The pattern is my favorite and I feel like it’s a little better made and slightly larger than the Aden & Anais AND it’s less expensive.  You can’t beat that!

.) Frog Sponge  – I wasn’t into spending a fortune on a huge baby bath contraption that was going to take up a ton of space and have no home when visitors come.  This is the solution!  It doesn’t take up much space and you can wring it out after use.  When Luke came home from the hospital, we laid it on top of the counter next to the kitchen sink and gave him sponge baths until his belly button fell off.  After that, we moved it to the tub and he loves it.

.) Graco Jogger Travel System -This is the stroller we have.  I have a mixed review for this one.  My only gripe is that the awning on both the stroller and carrier seem cheap to me.  The carrier awning is stretched out already and the stroller awning bounces a little more open when it gets bumpy on walks.  So hard to pick a stroller without using it first!
