Last Saturday, I got to meet The Pioneer Woman!  She was in Columbus, Ohio.  Can you believe it!  This was her first trip to Ohio and she liked it.  She told me she might move here…maybe…ok, maybe I’m putting words in her mouth.  In good old Ree Drummond fashion, I’ve included fun photo captions of my first book signing experience.

Lots of people waiting.  I was in awe of how many people were there for her that know so much about her life and have been following for years like I have.   I was on my tippy toes trying to catch a glimpse of what was going on.

“Girls, I can see her!  Here she comes!  She looks beautiful…and is so tall!”

Waiting in line.  Yes, we took a group photo with our books ready to be autographed.  We really like The Pioneer Woman’s Love Story and her cook book.  =)Kim and Ree making cute little faces at each other.  She was so happy to meet Kim!“Hi Ree!  I LOVE your blog, cooking and photography!”

Ree:  “Thank you so much!”

Ok jenny, i’m sure everyone is saying that.  Say something amazing that she’ll remember me and invite me to come cook at her Lodge.

“I loved your episode on Bobby Flay’s Throw Down.  It was so fun to watch and your mashed potatoes looked amazing!”

Ree:  Aww, thanks!  You can’t be in Oklahoma without making mashed potatoes!”

“And your lodge,  it’s just gorgeous!”

Ree:  “Thank you!”

…I’m sure I left a lasting impression…haha

Here are the gals that love her too, so we all got a photo.  So glad I got to meet her and it made my Saturday.  She was really sweet!    Heading to make some popcorn and cozy up with her Black Heels to Tracker Wheels.
