EXPLORING JOHN BRYAN + YELLOW SPRINGS

…does it get any better?! Only a few of my favorite things to do! While I was home this past weekend, to photograph the Morgan family, I went exploring with my parents. Somehow, when I’m home, we always find some sort of mini adventure. Well…I like to call them adventures at least. We like to explore. The three of us headed up to John Bryan State Park, near Yellow Springs. Let me tell you, if you haven’t gone yet, you should go. The trails are great and the scenery is gorgeous! After our hike we stopped by an Orchard Farm, where we picked up a huge bag of apples, I got some pure honey and pumpkin butter. Next, we stopped by this new winery, Brandeberry Winery, which opened in June. Drinking wine…..well.. is just a passion of ours. It’s a fun little place, we met the wine maker himself and he gave us the mini tour of how he works his magic. If you go, try the blackberry wine….worth it!  Enough said. Never had anything like it and you won’t be disappointed!

Fermenting grapes. And this will make white wine he said. Interesting….

The last two are from Sugar Creek Reserve. Sunday morning we went for another hike, it was too gorgeous out not to. This park is my favorite and we all like to hike and run often!
