FUN THINGS TO DO IN COLUMBUS OHIO

Don’t you  wish you knew of a hidden waterfall to explore?  Something that’s a little secret and tucked away?  A special and fun thing to do in Columbus is the waterfall and boardwalk at Hayden Falls Park in Dublin Ohio.  The small parking lot’s sign says “Griggs Nature Preserve.”  I have lived in Columbus 10 years now and I was surprised I’ve never heard of this place since I enjoy finding unique activities around town.

Friday was gorgeous and hot, so I figured it was the perfect afternoon to go on an afternoon adventure!  It’s a great little day trip and a small little spot to explore.
(Edited: I don’t believe Hayden Falls allows swimming anymore, they have not built a fence to keep people from swimming). A few other young locals had the same idea by spending their afternoon swimming in this whimsical secluded swimming hole.  This place brings back memories of childhood day dreams of sneaking off to a secluded waterfall that was made just for my friends and I.
