There is something so magical about photographing growing families, and this sweet maternity session near New Albany, Ohio was no exception. I’ve had the honor of photographing this family before, and I was beyond excited to capture this next chapter as they prepare to welcome their second baby girl.

A Dreamy Nature Park in New Albany, Ohio

We met at a gorgeous nature park just outside New Albany, Ohio, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for a summer maternity session. The soft evening light filtered through the trees, highlighting the lush greenery and sparkling creek nearby. It felt fresh, vibrant, and timeless—exactly the atmosphere I love bringing into maternity photos.

Style and Simplicity for Maternity Photos

Mom chose a simple, elegant white dress from my client closet, which paired beautifully with the natural setting. She looked absolutely radiant, and the dress created that soft, dreamy vibe that photographs so beautifully in outdoor locations. Her sweet two-year-old daughter joined us as well, full of excitement for family photos and her new role as big sister. Those little giggles and smiles made this session even more special!

From Maternity to Newborn Photography
