Please take notes (well for next year)… I have three words for you. Fly. Away. Farms. Fly Away Farms is a great little treasure, my friends and I found, only open 2 days out of the year! This was the first year I’ve ever cut down a Christmas Tree. It’s something I always wanted to do and have been curious about. It was Darwin friendly and they serve hot cocoa! Yippie!

After circling the field a several times, we finally found the perfect one. I insisted on posing for my first time cutting down a tree. Ever.
Then I actually tried sawing…… wow. This is way harder than it looks. I’ll leave tree cutting to Randy, the infamous lumber jack of the day. He cut that thing down so fast, I didn’t have time to take a photo. …or I was too busy checking out my cool new lumber-glam shots!
